Would today be another lonely day for me…?

I really don’t mind if it’s not from Apple. All I want is a decent mouse, good in term of performance for designing purpose and heavy usage of Photoshop. And should be comfortable and ergonomic too since I’ll be holding and using that thing for a long period of time.

This is Magic Mouse, the successor of Mighty Mouse. Yes, Suddenly everything clicks. And swipes. And scrolls — as the tagline goes. It has fascinating and sleek design too, which, well, quite drools me. Sadly, it doesn’t work on glass surface, I read. I think it’s time to get a mouse which will work on glass surface. So clearly, Magic Mouse isn’t the best choice.

Well, help me. I’m calling for all geeks and gadget lovers out there.

I’m quite happy with the result. After two years, I’m able to finally give it a new look. Looking back at its history, it was my first ever website. It provided me a platform to start off as a beginner WordPress themer to who I am today.

It was a dear website to me. And it still has that value up until now. I still renew it every year, keeping it alive. Now it has an even bigger ‘role’ – it serves as the ‘parent domain’ to all domain names my sister and I own now.

Before: This is how it looked before: More than 50% were occupied with lots of stuff; from work stuff, design mockups, screenshots, etc. to personal stuff. I had been working quite non-stop-ly the past few weeks that I saved almost everything in the desktop and at the end of the day, I didn’t bother to sort them out. This is how it turned out. I made it blurry on purpose.

After: I moved all unnecessary stuff into the Trash and sorted out design mockups and other in-use materials into folders. I changed to a more fresh and clean looked desktop wallpaper and loving it! So what’s left after the clean up?

Footnote: I notice that my Mac battery drains very quickly nowadays. Not a good sign.

I’m sure everyone of us has experience some degree of loneliness in our lives for many reasons. Most of the times it is caused by the absence of the loved ones – be it family members, close friends or partners – just like what I’m feeling most of the days.

No, loneliness can’t kill. It can only demotivate you in some way or make you feel weak inside sometimes. It certainly not a good feeling. Loneliness comes and goes. I guess I just have to cope with it.

Recently I downloaded a complete Smile You OST. Did I told you it was a good OST? There’s this instrumental I love the most. Here, I attach the video of it. I hope you enjoy listening.

Footnote: Enjoyed watching Germany vs Argentina and twittering about it. It was a very good match. Germany was awesome!

Yesterday, I tried to change the bulb in our guest toilet. I climbed up the extension ladder and managed to touch and actually pulled the bulb, but it would not come out. I was relying only on my left hand since I have to use my right hand to push against the wall to make myself stable. Didn’t manage to change the bulb in the end. Mom was laughing. She told me to climb higher and use both my hands to pulled the bulb out but no, I said, “No, I’m scared. I don’t feel stable”. Lol.

This has always been me. I’m not afraid of height. I can be at a highest point of a building and look down without feeling any fear. But climbing up an extension ladder, I just couldn’t go to the top. Can’t trust myself on this. I’m scared. Maybe because of the feeling of insecure as I can feel my legs are always shaking when I’m doing this. Haha.

It’s Subuh already.

The funny thing is, working from home, you’re not only get to do your job, but you also get to do other chores like cooking, laundry, etc. I was in the middle of designing a theme for the web dev team I’m working with when my mom called and asked me to cook lunch. Haha.

To my ex-coursemates who have already started working, all the best and kerja baik-baik.

I see you, talk to you, laugh with you, thinking of you and missing you both in my dreams and reality, that I failed to differentiate which one is the former and which one is the latter. All I know is both are sweet.

I met Eja last Tuesday. God, it feels good to see you again. We went to settle the matters regarding our scholarship and then had some lunch. I really miss the old days. And it’s always sad to part with you. I met some other ex-coursemates too – Nita, Asma and Ina. Thanks for the accommodation. I slept comfortably on Asma’s bed. Haha.

My dad and I are going back to Alor Setar tomorrow’s evening. Dad will have to go to Limbang next week, so he can’t leave me here all alone, hence, sending me to Alor Setar to stay with Mom. I’ll come back to Selayang soon! Oh I love traveling, well, if this counts as one.

I have one good news, a long-waited good news. And I have been wanting to tell someone about it, but I couldn’t bring myself to yet.
